Leadership Faith-Part 3

Text: 2Cor 4:13
   Leadership faith is heart based as established in the previous publication and we shall establish the second characteristics which is;
  • Outspoken: leadership faith springs from the heart but is expressed by the tongue. It causes a leader to speak boldly and loudly giving him a fearless outlook. This was the case when David confronted Goliath, he said "I will feed your head to the birds of the air" (paraphrased) which he did with the composure of a professional. I would like to state at this point that effective leadership has little to do with age and everything to do with possessing the right qualities. If you have a vision you believe in with all your heart, you'll speak about it with boldness and a sense of responsibility, because it is very easy to depict a man's beliefs from his speech. Martin Luther King Jr believed in a vision he had, and kept on proclaiming it in his famous "I have a dream" speeches all across the states he visited. If you've been keeping quiet about that dream or vision, its simply because you don't believe in it. My advice is simple, get a hold of a true vision; one that adds value to the dying world and glorifies the creator, as you exercise leadership faith and propel it to fulfillment. If you want to handle big results, you have to start speaking big. No vision is small, it may look small from the onset but as you run with it you'll discover it has the mustard seed effect. The mustard seed is the smallest of all seeds, but when planted and watered, it grows to become a large tree; you can't really relate the size of the tree with that of the seed because the difference is great and clear. Don't be deterred by challenges, just keep demonstrating leadership faith by boldly declaring your vision to anyone who cares to pay attention and you'll soon see proofs of what you believe in appearing openly to all. If you own a company and you have a vision for that company, just keep speaking about the vision to the staff and any other party connected to that company and you'll begin to see the physical and psychological effect of the vision on the people. Speak to yourself and speak to others about what you believe in, and it will amaze you to see the transformation that follows. Leadership faith moves a leader to speak boldly about his vision. No man can emerge a great and excellent leader without this important pillar of leadership.
