Leadership Faith-Part 1

Text: Luke 1:45
"What you are today is a product of what you believed in yesterday, and what you believe today will determine what you'll become tomorrow".It takes faith to see any vision fulfilled, no vision gets fulfilled without the faith of the visioneer. Faith is the second pillar of leadership, without it there would be no great leaders. It is a driving force that compels you to speak the unspeakable and attempt the impossible. Visions are propelled to accomplishment by the force of faith.
Faith makes a leader out of a follower, it produces greatness out of nothing. A young boy called David brought down a renowned giant warrior with years of fighting experience by faith, Goliath saw his end at the hands of a visionary young leader who had the faith to confront what other soldiers dreaded. Until you are equipped with the faith needed to make things happen you may never become an excellent leader. Most of the inventions that greatly influenced the world and humanity could be traced back to faith driven leaders who were resilient in their pursuit.
Faith simply connotes an inert conviction that triggers action in a given direction and towards a specific goal. The God based faith simply means a display of confidence in the creator and a corresponding obedience to His will until He makes good His promises. We have established that true leadership comes from God because He is the auther of leadership, He is also the source of genuine vision because he manufactured man and has the manual to every man's life. True faith also comes from God because He is the only one who can make you believe the vision He has shown you, men may think you are crazy but in the midst of all that fuss you'll find something on your inside telling you that "you can make it."
It is a common saying that "when the going gets tough, the tough gets going" but I say "when the going gets tough, only faith driven leaders keep going." What makes you an excellent leader is not your ability to discover purpose, but your ability to pursue the purpose you have discovered. Don't stop at discovery, advance to pursuit; that's where the action and excitement is as well as the challenges and discouragement. You will succeed if you have leadership faith......
